Masonic Lodge honors widows and late husbands

“Behind every successful man, there is a strong woman,” is an old idiom Elgin’s Masonic Lodge #328 believes to be accurate. Therefore, every year Elgin’s Masonic Lodge caters a luncheon, honoring the ladies who stood behind, often next to, and even at times were at the helm for their husbands and families.

This year four ladies were honored along with posthumous recognition of their husbands. Honorees included (from left) Rita Ward, wife of Bro. Bill Ward; Doroles Johnson, wife of Bro. Arby Johnson; Gloria Hamilton, wife of Bro. Bill Hamilton; and Ealine Reinbolt, wife of Bro. David Reinbolt.
