Maria C. Rios

Maria C. Rios, 91, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at her home in Elgin.

She was predeceased by her husband, Cruz Rios.

She is survived by her children, Maria (Rocio) Barcenas, Lupe Rios, Olivo Rios and spouse Anabel Rios, Noemi Rios and spouse Antonio Tijerina Jr., and Jessica Rios; grandchildren, Christina Velasquez and spouse Kenny Roberts, Genesis Martinez, Vanessa Martinez and spouse Daniel Torres and David Rios and spouse Crystal Salgado, Isabella, Alejandra and Cuauhtemoc Rios; and great grandchildren Aleiyah Cook, Daniel III, Jamison and Cruzito Torres.

Celebration of Mass Christian burial was held Friday, June 2, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Paul Hudson presiding.

Interment followed in the Elgin Latin Cemetery
