The epitome of elegance and steadfast faith, with her family at her bedside, Sister Sandra Diana Payne entered eternal rest on Oct. 12, 2023, at the age of 73.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Payne.
Family and friends will gather for a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Elgin Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. at Winn’s Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend D. W. Townsend, presiding.
Interment will follow at Cook Walden Cemetery in Austin.
