JULY 13 HERMAN FEST

BASTROP—Prepareto dance at Leon’s Country Store during the 7th annual Herman Fest, a day of music, friends and memories. The music lineup includes the Silver Wings Band, Tim Sparkman, Mark Lee, Steve Meuth and Logan Tucker. The event will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. at Leon’s General Store, Farm to Market 535 in Bastrop. PATCHES OF COLOR HISTORIC QUILT SHOW BASTROP — Join Lost Pines Art Center, 1204 Chestnut St. in Bastrop, from 6 to 8 p.m. for a reception celebrating the historic quilts from Dock Jackson and Barbara Clemons. They will speak about the history and meaning of these unique, handmade quilts from generations of their families. Admission is free, refreshments available, and all ages are welcome.

JULY 19-20

CORVETTE INVATION BASTROP — Head to downtown Bastrop for the Largest Corvette Car Show in Texas with hundreds of Corvettes, vendors, music and food for the entire family. Guest speaker will be Doug Fehan, Corvette Racing Program Manager for Corvette Racing. MUSIC AT THE MUSEUM: IDNIE ROCK WITH DAYDREAMER BASTROP — Enjoy a free, live concert featuring talented area musicians, Daydreamer, at theBastropMuseumand Visitor Center, 904 Main St. in Bastrop. Explore the Bastrop Museum & Visitor Center before or after the performance. Connect with fellow music lovers and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere during July’s special musical performance. Daydreamer is an indie rock group formed in Austin in Fall of 2019. All five musicians in the band are also collegiate scholars.
