Shawn had a long-standing relationship with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and was very blessed by his faith to his dying breath. He was devoted to his family and would come to your aide, day or night. He was a gentle, loving, caring, wonderful man. Shawn left a permanent mark etched into our hearts. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Although our hearts are heavy we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven.

He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Hofmayer; grandparents, Ernest and Floy Perkins; uncle, Gene; and aunt, Dianna Perkins.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Bruce and Deborah Lane; wife, Crystal Hofmayer; children, Dominique and Rob Ralph, Randi Lynn Mincy; grandchildren; Kayden, Avery, Novalee Ralph and Sophia McIntosh; uncle, Ardley Perkins; siblings, Tonya McLaughlin, Christopher Hofmayer, Bridget and Randy Lupfer, Roxanne Woolsey, Jessica Henderson and Travis Lane; cousins, Jesse, Ashley, Chelsea, Jason, Desire, Mimi and Lisa; and nieces, nephews and many more family members.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, with a celebration of Shawn’s life beginning at noon.

Interment to follow in the Austin Memorial Park.
