LPRW GUEST SPEAKER BASTROP — George Rodriguez, El Conservador, will be the guest speaker at the Lost Pines Republican Women Christmas Party Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Osprey Point Hall, Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. MCDADE — The Mc-Dade Extension Education Club will meet Wednesday, Dec. 11, at noon at the Faith Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 230 Waco St., for the club's Christmas Party. Members are asked to bring a dessert for lunch, goodies for the Members’ Goodie Bags and a $15 gift for the Gift Exchange to participate. The organization’s “Christmas giving wish” is to share and bring canned goods or other nonperishable food items to support the McDade Food Pantry.
