Brothers giving back

SMITHVILLE — Caleb and Emmet Magden present a $300 donation to Smithville Independent School District Child Nutrition Director Candy Biehle. The pair operates Home Fire Timber, a firewood business they use to support local causes — including the district’s Hungry Tiger Fund, which helps families who don’t qualify for free meals but struggle to afford school lunches. District officials said contributions to the fund ensure students receive nutritious meals regardless of family finances.
