Relay for Life set for April 13

The Elgin community wants to knock out “stupid cancer,” and plans to raise money next month.

Relay for Life is set for April 13, at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 310 N. Main in Elgin.

According to the American Cancer Society, “Relay For Life is more than a walk — it’s a chance to come together in your local community to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost and fight back against every cancer as we come together for every life.”

The Elgin event will feature live music, entertainment, a silent auction and food trucks.
