Activities: I am involved with the student council and the National Honor Society. I participate in University Interscholastic League academics, including speech, debate and journalism.
What was your biggest achievement in school? My biggest achievement in school has been planning the homecoming festivities each year. As a class officer, I love bringing our classmates together to work on our parade float and participate in games. It takes a lot of organizing and coordinating, but the fun we have is always worth it.
College: The University of Texas at Austin.
Why? UT Austin is close to my hometown of Smithville. Not only can I get a great education, but I can stay connected with my community, my friends and my family.
Major: Public Health. Dream job: I would like to become a pediatrician or family doctor.
What is your superpower? My real life superpower is taking on new situations with optimism and remaining positive when facing adversity.
Life philosophy: There is always something to be grateful for, and there are always people to care for.

What was your biggest achievement in school? My biggest achievement in school is being named the MVP girls golf member for all four years of high school. It’s been an incredible journey, filled with hard work, dedication and a lot of fun on the greens!
College: The University of Texas at Austin.
Why? I’m attending the University of Texas at Austin because I grew up going to UT sporting events and fell in love with the Longhorn spirit from a young age. The energy and pride of the campus have always felt like home to me, making it the perfect place to continue my education.
Major: Undeclared. Dream job: Entrepreneur. What is your superpower? My superpower is my determination and goal-oriented mindset. I love setting big goals and tackling them with enthusiasm, no matter how challenging the journey might be.
