Elgin, Bastrop athletes earn state recognition

Elgin Independent School Dist r ict and Bastrop Independent School District recently celebrated the academic achievements of their student-athletes, with 11 honorees named to the 2024-25 Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State teams.

These students demonstrated excellence both on the field and in the classroom, maintaining high academic standards and balancing the demands of athletics with their educational pursuits, according to the organization.
