CEDAR CREEK — Cedar Creek Eag le s senior gua rd Kenji Franklin celebrated surpassing his 2 ,000- ca reer-poi nt s milestone dur ing a dominant 72-47 win over the Navarro Vikings Friday, Jan. 28.

Franklin led the Eagles with 25 points in the match, shooting 4-of-7 from beyond the arc and 10-of-17 from the field.

The Eagles hit the court with an offensive mindset, as senior guard Dillon Dubee found a rhythm with Franklin and helped create distance in the first quarter.

Fast play from Franklin extended the lead to double digits and Cedar Creek surged with a 3-pointer from senior guard Brayton Adams to push a 23-10 advantage at intermission.

The Eagles continued to outscore the Vikings after the break, building a commanding 48-21 lead heading into the game’s final minutes.

Senior guard Phineas Koplin helped cap off the night with a late long-range shot and secured the Eagles victory.
