Family and friends gathered at Santa Barbara Catholic Church on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022,from 4  until 8 p.m. A graveside service was conducted at Elgin Latin Cemetery on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. Interment followed.
