He lay in state at Elgin Funeral Home Monday, Feb. 17, where family and friends gathered for visitation and recitation of the Holy Rosary. A celebration of Christian funeral Mass followed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin with Father Paul Hudson presiding.

Inurnment was private. Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Ave. C in Elgin.
