Airplane showcase landing in Smithville

SMITHVILLE – The 17th annual Smithville fly-in is scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 10 at the Smithville Crawford Municipal Airport, 765 N W Loop 230.

Rescheduled after the original date in May was rained out, the outdoor event will showcase aircrafts owned by pilots statewide. Attendees will offer tours of cockpits, including helicopters and vintage airplanes.

The free event will have lunch available and include a “candy drop” for children.
