BASTROP – Meet Jana Lynch, ALA PaintedArtist at her animal eye egg tempera solo show titled “Eye to Eye” June 8, from 1to 3 p.m. at Bastrop Public Library. She will be demonstrating the near lost medium of egg and earth pigments. This is the only paint medium we know for sure that lasts for millennials.

BASTROP – Ladies, come enjoy a night just for you. Every second Friday, members of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce gathers to socialize in the most unique setting in town. Each month has a new theme with endless possibilities. June will be “The Art Of The Tease.” Channel your inner vixen and learn some dance moves that might include fun props like boas or gloves. Bubbly will be provided to top off the evening. Space is limited to 12 so grab your spot.
AL-ANON MEETING
ELGIN – The Al-Anon meeting is held every Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 216 W Third St. in Elgin.
