BASTROP – The Birders, Bastrop County Audubon Society and Bird City Bastrop will have a Little Hike in Fisherman’s Park, 1200 Willow St. in Bastrop. MCDADE – The Sherwood Celtic Music Festival and Highland Games will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the Sherwood Forest Faire, 1883 Old Hwy 20 in McDade. SMITHVILLE – The mostly outdoor Scream Hollow Wicked Halloween Park is known for its high-quality haunted house/trails entertainment in the middle of the woods outside of Smithville. Check out its four themed haunted trails (with structures) and scream your night away at Scream Hollow, 149 Split Rail Lane. AL-ANON MEETING

ELGIN – The Al-Anon meeting is held every Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 216 W Third St. in Elgin.
