Nonprofit funding deadline inbound

The city of Elgin is accepting nonprofit funding applications for the fiscal year 2023-24 annual budget.

All nonprofits in the community must complete their application packets and return them by noon on Nov. 3 to City Secretary Jennifer Stubbs at jennifer. [email protected].

Application packets may be found on the city of Elgin website or picked up at Elgin City Hall.

The city of Elgin accepts funding requests only from organizations that are tax exempt or have applied for tax exempt status under sections 501(c)(3) of the IRS. Organizations applying must directly serve Elgin citizens and cannot be umbrella funding organizations.

Decisions will be made by the end of December 2023.
