ELGIN – The Elgin Cemetery Association will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Please help keep the historical Elgin Cemetery clean and looking nice. The church is located at 216 W. Third Street in Elgin.

ELGIN – Hunt for mini pumpkins, launch pumpkins, be challenged by the mazes, strike it rich at the gem mining area or brave the zip line and much more. All shapes and sizes of pumpkins to purchase. BASTROP – The Bastrop Live Music Foundation is bringing more family- friendly local performances to Neighbor’s Kitchen & Yard’s outdoor pavilion next to the Riverwalk during the Harmony Ridge Concert Fundraiser in historic Bastrop, Texas. Camp chairs or blankets are recommended. Food and refreshments are available. From 8 to 10 p.m., enjoy music by James McMurtry, singer/songwriter, dubbed “America’s fiercest songwriter” by CNN.
