Heroes and Hot Rods

The 17th annual Heroes & Hot Rods Veterans Day car show saw hundreds of cruisers and car enthusiasts come out to Bastrop for two full days of tribute. 

After the march down Main Street cleared, some of the several blocks lined with vintage racers opened up for closer inspections. 

Proud of their local heroes, American flags were in no short supply. 

Smithville brought back their cozy Airing of the Quilts showcase this past weekend, with downtown businesses raising their finest stitchwork along historic Main Street.
