LOCKHART — The Elgin High School boys and girls track and field teams competed Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Lockhart Lions Relays meet as the Wildcats and Lady Wildcats had some standout performers in their respective events.
WILDCATS
1s t - Wi ldc a t s 4x200-meter relay team with a time of 1:33.13.
1st - Curtis McFarlin in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.14 seconds.
1st - Zaire Nuells with a mark of 43 feet, three inches in the triple jump.
2nd - Curtis McFarlin with a mark of 42 feet, five inches in the triple jump.
4 th - Wil d c at s 4x100-meter relay team with a time of 43.97 seconds.
4th - Isaac Carter in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.54 seconds.
4th - Isaac Carter with a mark of 19 feet, six inches in the long jump.
5th - Gary Jefferson in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.60 seconds.
LADY WILDCATS
2nd - Lady Wildcats 4x100-meter relay team with a time of 50.15 seconds.
2nd - Kailyn Cook in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.87 seconds.
3rd - Emily Lugala in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:35.50.
3rd - Lady Wildcats 4x200-meter relay team with a time of 1:52.73.
4th - Layla Whitman in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.34 seconds.
4th - Emma Lugala with a mark of 31 feet, 9.5 inches in the triple jump.
5th - Ta’Myra Walker in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.27 seconds.
5th - Ta’Myra Walker in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.37 seconds.
5th - Ta’Myra Walker with a mark of 14 feet, seven inches in the long jump.
Elgin track and field will next compete Friday, March 1 at the Rockdale Relays meet.
