HUTTO — The Hutto High School boys and girls varsity track and field teams competed Friday, March 22 at the Hippo Relays meet hosted by Hutto High School.
ELGIN WILDCATS
1st - Curtis McFarlin in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 42.97 seconds.
3rd - Lewis Reese in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.97 seconds.
5th - Jeffery Love in the discus with a mark of 117 feet four inches.
6th - Issac Carter, Gary Jefferson, Zaire Nuells and Xavier Penson in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 44.74 seconds.
8th - Zaire Nuells in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.17 seconds.
ELGIN LADY WILDCATS
2nd - Kailyn Cook in the long jump with a mark of 19 feet one inch.
4th - Kailyn Cook in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.29 seconds.
5th - Makayla Taylor- Bowman, Layla Whitman, Kailyn Cook and Ta’ Myra Walker in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 49.77 seconds.
7th - Emily Lugala in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:35.00.
7th - Jordin Seeger in the discus with a mark of 85 feet eight inches.
8h - Layla Whitman in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.75 seconds.
9th - Ta’Myra Walker in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.93 seconds.
9th - Makayla Taylor- Bowman in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.80 seconds.
Elgin track and field will next compete April 3-4 at the 5A-District 23 meet hosted by Georgetown East View High School.
