Bastrop County varsity boys and girls track and field teams were in action this past week as Bastrop High School, Cedar Creek High School, Smithville High School and McDade High School competed at their respective district meets.
Bastrop and Cedar Creek were at the 5A-District 23 meet at Georgetown East View High School, Smithville was at the 4A-District
22 meet at Giddings High School and McDade was at the 1A-District 29 meet at Fayetteville High School.
BASTROP BEARS
1st - Ramonz Adams in the triple jump with a mark of 46 feet three inches.
2nd - Ramonz Adams in the long jump with a mark of 21 feet 7.75 inches.
3rd - Roberto Sanchez, Levi Nichols, Ramonz Adams and LaDainian Merino in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of
