PURPLE DIAMONDS DANCE SHOWCASE ELGIN – Elgin High School’s talented dancers present “Intensity” at their annual fundraiser. The award-winning dance team will be bringing energy to the Elgin High School Cafetorium April 19-20. Shows begin 7 p.m., $12 tickets at the door.

MCDADE CEMETARY ASSOCIATION MCDADE – The Mc-Dade Cemetery Association will meet at the McDade Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on 198 El Paso Street. Doors open at 11am, Potluck meal starts at noon & meeting to follow. All are welcome to attend.

BAILEY’S BULL BASH

BASTROP – Come dance the night away with Moe Bandy and Janie Fickle after an exciting evening of action- packed bull riding. Riding starts 5 p.m. at Mayfest Park, 25 American Legion Drive. $15 at the gate for bull riding, $40 for concert.

WASTEWATER PLANT RIBBON CUTTING ELGIN – The new City of Elgin Doug Prinz Memorial Wastewater Treatment Plant will be cutting its ceremonial ribbon April 20, 10 a.m. at 720 W. Cleveland St.
