The Bastrop Juneteenth Committee formed in 1986, a community organization set on sponsoring, hosting and participating in events that promote social change, service to the community and education of African American history and customs.

A Texas parade staple, family riders mix in with show cars and decorated floats for the Freedom Celebration parade.

Bastrop County police and fire teams ensure a safe and inviting celebration, securing the parade route and providing emergency assistance.

Motorcycle and ATV clubs show their support for the community and their culture before joining in on the festivities at Fisherman’s Park.
