BASTROP – The Ame r ican Picke r s are bringing their hit show back to Texas this October, offering Bastrop County residents a unique chance to showcase their hidden treasures.

The popular documentary series on The History Channel explores the world of antique picking, following skilled pickers as they search for America’s most valuable antiques. Along their journey, they uncover historically significant items and meet the characters behind them.

Known for traveling back roads across the country, the pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics, giving them a new lease on life while discovering stories about America’s past. With years of experience in spotting “rusty gold,” they are always eager to find unique items they’ve never seen before.

Now, they are turning their at tention to Central Texas and are seeking leads on unique items or stories residents may have. The American Pickers are particularly interested in private collections, avoiding stores, f lea markets, malls, auction businesses and museums.

Residents who have potential picks can send their name, phone number, location and a description of their collection with photos to americanpickers@ cineflix.com or call 646-493-2184. They can also connect through Facebook at @GotAPick.

This is an opportunity for Bast rop County to share its r ic h hi s tor y and unique stories with a national audience, and residents are encouraged to reach out to the American Pickers with their treasures.
