Elgin nonprofits looking to boost their impact can now apply for funding through the city’s 2024-25 fiscal year budget.
The city is calling on local organizations to submit their applications by Nov. 1 to be considered for support. Packets must be sent to Assistant City Secretary Esmeralda Rangel via email at citysecretary@elgintexas.
gov. Application forms are available on the city’s website at elgintexas. gov or can be picked up at City Hall. Only organizat ions that have secured or applied for tax-exempt status under IRS section 501(c)(3) are eligible, and applicants must serve Elgin residents directly, without acting as umbrella funding organizations.
The city will finalize funding decisions by December, offering local nonprofits a valuable opportunity to secure f inancial backing for the upcoming year.
