EES Career Night

Career night was an event that took place at Elgin Elementary where the school invited students to meet adults with interesting careers. Some of those careers included a civil engineer and a therapist.

Students learned civil engineers design and build bridges. Mr. Wehrle (Ms. Wehrle’s brother) is a civil engineer who went to the University of Texas at Austin, and he taught students that everything has a stamp to keep things safe.

The IPC therapist taught students that you get to play in this career and help people. Everyone enjoyed learning from all of the different jobs and getting stuff to take home.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who came to teach us about their jobs and thank you to the PTA for the pizza.
