Family and friends gathered for a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. with a wake starting at 7 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Elgin Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Hunt presiding.

A home-going celebration was held at Saturday, June 15, at noon at First Baptist Church of Elgin under the auspices, of Strait Gate Fellowship, with Pastor Don Cyphers and Bishop D.L. Williams presiding.

Interment followed at Sayers Cemetery.
