Joe was a dedicated employee at Applied Materials.

Joe proudly served four years in the Marine Corps and was passionate about video games, football, hockey and all things related to Minnesota sports and otherwise.

He and Alicia shared a love for history, exploring museums and historical sites and trying new restaurants as they cherished their love for food.

He was a one-of-a-kind man who always carried smiles and hugs, ready to share them with all. As a husband, a dad, a friend and a Marine, he touched many lives.

We will keep you in our hearts always. Rest easy Marine, we have the watch from here.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Alicia Stanczyk; his stepson, Domonic and wife Kelly; and grandson, Lucas. Joe is also survived by his daughter, Ashley and her husband Chris; his son, Austin; and his sister Maleta.

He leaves behind his parents, Merlene and Duane from Minnesota; as well as his in-laws, Alphonse and Alexis from California; his brother-in-law, Ahren and wife Jocelyn and their children Iris and Ivan.

A funeral was held Tuesday July 30, at 2 p.m. at their home church, Grace Community Baptist Church of Elgin.
