He will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home Friday, Oct. 4, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Family and friends will gather for a home-going celebration at Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m., with Pastor Melvin Ikner presiding. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
