Family and friends gathered for a visitation at Elgin Funeral Home Oct. 29 and prayed the holy rosary.

A celebration of Christian funeral mass will be held Oct. 30, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin, with Father Paul presiding. Christian burial will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
