William left this Earth suddenly and went to be with his lord and savior in Heaven. He was born in Bastrop, Texas, and grew up in Elgin, Texas, at the Butler Brickyard during his childhood years. He most recently lived in Johnson City.

He was preceded in death by Frank Charles Schindler Sr., father; Verna Mae Sander Buckner, mother; James John Buckner, stepfather; Charles Cory Schindler, nephew; and Michael Richard Olivier, brother-in- law.

Survivors include his brother Frank Charles Schindler Jr. and wife Sharon Stifflemire Schindler; Charles Cory Schindler Jr., greatnephew; Theresa Schindler Olivier, sister; Kandy Jones, niece; Kristin Gray Granados, niece, and husband Robert Granados; Seth Allen Buckner, nephew and wife Sarah Patterson; Vera Gray Granados, great-niece; Antone Epifano Granados, great-nephew; and Brock James Buckner, greatnephew.

A celebration of life was held Saturday, Nov. 2, at Weed, Corley & Fish Funeral Home, 5416 Parkcrest Drive in Austin.
