Friends and family gathered for visitation at Elgin Funeral Home Nov. 8, and a celebration of Brother Eugene’s life was held at Grant AME Worship Center of Austin Nov. 9, with Reverend Dr. Sylvester Delany Patton, III and Reverend Pamela R. Rivera, of the Austin Capital District, presiding.

Interment will follow on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Central State Texas Veteran Cemetery in Killeen with Military Honors.

Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home, 712 N. Avenue C in Elgin.
