The Elgin High School boys varsity basketball team put a halt to their previous three-game losing streak Friday, Jan. 12 as the Wildcats surged to a 55-31 victory at home against district foe Bastrop High School.
The Elgin High School boys and girls varsity soccer teams continued the start of their seasons this past week. The Wildcats took part Jan. 11-13 in the Copa Akins Tournament in Austin and the Lady Wildcats had a pair of home matches Jan. 9 versus Manor High School and Jan. 12 against Hutto High School.
